operation deadbeat has begun
July 2nd I quit my job after 11 years. I am voluntarily unemployed. A year of foolishness (according to some) and bravery (according to others) and adventure (according to me) lies ahead. At the end of it I hope to find something I had lost a long long time ago. Me.

Since the Spring, you’ve been on a cross-country road trip, on a few jaunts to San Diego and Arizona, taking classes, re-landscaping your yard, getting your dive certification, on an adventure to South America and planning a summer filled with guitar lessons, flight instruction, horse-back riding and blogging. You may consider re-thinking the operation name.
